FAQ's

We've done our best to answer the most common questions asked, however if you can't find an answer to your question please get in touch with us directly through the contact page.

Will our wedding be filmed in High Definition?

As a standard, everything we film is in High Definition. As we also frequently work with broadcast productions, all our cameras meet the BBC requirements for full 1080p acquisition. It's important to remember that DVD's only playback in Standard Definition so if you want the highest quality please request a Blu-Ray or a digital file of your wedding film.

How long is the finished film?

As no two weddings are the same, the length of the film is ultimately dictated by how long it takes to tell the story of the day. Every wedding package we offer has two films included, a highlights film of the day and a second edit with the services and speeches in full. Typically the highlights will be between 7 - 15 minutes and the full film of the day will vary between 45 - 70 minutes.

Is there an extra cost for Travel?

With all our costs, we always insure complete transparency so you know exactly what the overall cost is before booking. We don't charge mileage for weddings in a 50 mile radius of our home base in Stafford. For weddings more than 50 miles away, we charge 40p for every mile over. This will be included on the quotation that we supply you, to insure you know the final cost.

Will you need to set up obtrusive camera equipment?

As trained documentary film makers, we're always careful to insure the placement of our cameras are discreet and able to get the best shot. A typical set up will be to have a camera and operator at the back of the venue on a tripod and an unmanned, small camera hidden at the front.

Can I see the film before it's sent to me?

As a standard for every wedding we film, we always upload a private, password protected film for you to view and feedback your thoughts and any changes you would like made.

What about all the footage that didn't get put in the film?

We are always happy to accommodate requests for raw footage. There is a small charge of £75.00 for sending out DVD's and £150.00 for BluRay discs. Typically an 8 hour Wedding day will result in approximately 3 hours of footage, each DVD will contain 1 hour of footage split into individual shots with no editing or post processing.
