As an award winning creative film maker and relatively newly wed myself, the first half of 2010 was spent visiting wedding fayres across the Midlands. Working in commercial broadcast at the time, I would always be drawn to the videographers stand, curious as to how their approach would compare to mine. Whilst there is no denying the talent that is out there, the wedding videography industry consistently appeared to be lacking in creativity and using images to effectively tell the story of the day.

Lilac Weddings single passion is capturing stunning imagery to tell a story. Every wedding is unique, hence why we don't try and impose strict packages upon you. We meet with you to find out exactly what you want capturing and then show you some of the specialised techniques we can use, to turn your film from a wedding video into a cinematic wedding.

We frequently get special requests which we are happy to accomodate, such as recording messages prior to the wedding, from loved ones who aren't able to make the day to putting together montages of baby photos of the couple to be played at the Reception. The simple
